Here you will find answers to common questions about submitting articles to NorssiNews. Our goal is to make the submission process as smooth as possible for all contributors.

What kind of stories or topics are perfect for our school news?

Anything that you find interesting enough to write about is worth writing about. We encourage creativity and diverse topics. Please stay away from more mature subjects that may not be suitable for a school publication. Note that it may take a while for your article to be uploaded as we do a batch every month.

Is this page just for students, or can teachers and staff also submit articles?
While we prefer student submissions to showcase their talents, we welcome contributions from all members of the Norssi school community, including teachers and staff.

What steps do I need to follow to submit an article?

Please send your articles as a pdf file to imama.finland@gmail.com. In your email, specify whether you wish to remain anonymous or receive credit for your work. Please be prepared that you may not receive an immediate response.

Once I send in an article, what happens next?
Your article will be reviewed. We appreciate all forms of content, so if any changes are requested, they will most likely be related to grammar or formatting. Once both sides are satisfied with the article's conditions, it will be published, and we will notify you as soon as it's live.
